Maybe you already feel this in your heart. . . . our most primal human connections to the Beloved are personal spiritual experiences in the natural world.
Remember, Rediscover, Reclaim
The Wild Canopy supports you in remembering your primal human connections to Self, Soul, and World. Through this process of remembering, you rediscover your innate capacity for healing your Self, others, and our planet. And, through the process of rediscovery, you reclaim your human essence. . . . to live happy, healthy, and whole. . . . interconnected to all living beings and Mother Earth in sacred community.
The Metaphor of the Wild Canopy
When the sun beats down, overheating your body and burning your skin, the shade of the forest canopy offers relief. Do you care what kind of tree you are under? Is the oak preferred to the pecan, the redwood to the cedar? Of course not. You are simply seeking freedom from suffering and, ideally, happiness.
The canopy filters the light and the harshness of suffering—our own, that of other living beings, and that of Mother Earth. The canopy nurtures those who seek shelter without judgment. The canopy does not refuse shelter because of species, religion, race, ethnicity, age, ability, socioeconomic status, citizenship, gender identification, or political preference. The forest welcomes all who come seeking refuge, healing, and guidance.
And, as each seeker begins to heal, we become a part of the canopy, offering refuge to others. . . . and, leaf by leaf, we heal the world.
